Prime Video Awards

In an ever-evolving environment, supporting the next generation means promoting the dissemination of hands-on knowledge that can effectively address today’s challenges in fields such as arts, culture, communication, and media.

For this reason, Amazon Prime Video has established the Prime Video Awards, a named scholarship fund that, starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, will support, over a two-year period, students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture and Communication and the Master of Science programs in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment and in Marketing Management.

Bottega Verde Talent & Need Awards in ricordo di Paolo Lavino

Bottega Verde has chosen to actively invest in the new generation through the establishment of a named fund to support students. The company recognizes the importance of investing in education and innovation and, through this fund, seeks to contribute to the training of future leaders in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The Bottega Verde Talent & Need Awards in Memory of Paolo Lavino, named after President Paolo Lavino, will support female students enrolled in the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence during the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic years. Over this two-year period, a total of four recipients will benefit from full and/or partial tuition exemptions, enabling them to pursue their studies without financial concerns.

Bottega Verde is proud to contribute to the academic community and provide a solid foundation for student success in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Beyond directly investing in the next generation, this initiative also aims to set an example and inspire other forward-looking companies to support education and help make the dreams of bright and motivated students a reality. Naming the scholarship fund after founder and long-time chairman Paolo Lavino pays tribute to the moral legacy of an enlightened entrepreneur and pioneer, as well as to a man who embodied philanthropy as a constant feature of his entrepreneurial journey.

Ceresio Scholarship

The relationship between the Foglia family and Università Bocconi is strong and enduring, nurtured and renewed over the years through shared values that have led the family to support several development projects with the University.

In 2019, with the goal of contributing to the education of new generations, the Foglia family established the Ceresio Scholarship as part of the Double Degree program in European and International Public Policy and Politics, a program resulting from the collaboration between the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Università Bocconi. To date, two talented and deserving students have been able to pursue their dream of undertaking this innovative degree thanks to the generous support of the Foglia family, an inspiring example of their commitment to intergenerational solidarity.

eBay Bocconi Women in Tech Awards

The collaboration between eBay and Bocconi stems from the relationship between two dynamic and innovative institutions, both strongly committed to promoting diversity and inclusion through concrete actions and initiatives.

On this basis, eBay has established the eBay Bocconi Women in Tech Awards to support talented and deserving female students enrolled in innovative Master’s degree programs aligned with the Foundation’s mission. Over the next two years, the Bocconi Women Tech Awards fund will enable four female students to join the University: two in the Bachelor’s programs in Economics, Management and Computer Science and in Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence, and two in the Master of Science programs in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology and in Data Science and Business Analytics.

Fasanara STEM Award

Fasanara is a London-based investment firm focused on fintech lending through liquid alternative credit funds, with the aim of generating impact on the real economy. Fasanara’s mission is to guarantee the security of capital and to ensure that it is accessible, distributed, and used for the benefit of all, not just a few. The company is particularly interested in students and stakeholders who propose disruptive, high-impact, technology- and data-driven solutions.

Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, the firm will support, through the named scholarship fund Fasanara STEM Awards, four students enrolled in the first year of the BSc in Economic and Social Sciences, Economics, Management and Computer Science, or Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence, as well as students enrolled in the MSc programs in Data Science and Business Analytics, Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology, Economic and Social Sciences, or Artificial Intelligence.

Fondazione Del Vecchio

Fondazione Dompé Student Awards

Fondazione Dompé, like Bocconi University, firmly believes in a knowledge-based economy and in the fundamental role that science and innovation play in the evolution of society.

For this reason, since the 2020/2021 academic year, the Foundation has chosen to invest in the scientific training of young talents through scholarships reserved for deserving students, selected from five Italian centers of academic excellence, including Bocconi. As part of this program, Fondazione Dompé has established the Fondazione Dompé Student Awards, a named fund that, over the next five years, will open the University’s doors to 15 students enrolled in the Master of Science programs in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology, Data Science and Business Analytics, and Economic and Social Sciences. Through this initiative, Fondazione Dompé has chosen to collaborate with universities - and Bocconi in particular - in order to promote the human and professional growth of young talents, regardless of their socio-economic background, and to actively contribute to the country’s social mobility.

The Invernizzi Students Financial Aid

The thirty-year relationship between Bocconi University and the Invernizzi Foundation can be summed up in two words: trust and reliability; the same trust that Romeo Invernizzi, together with his wife Erica, placed in our University and in our development projects from the very beginning.

Since 1991, the year of its establishment, the Foundation has consistently invested in research. For the first time this year, however, it has chosen to channel its support into the education of new generations through the creation of a named financial aid fund. For the next five years, the Invernizzi Financial Aid will support education at all levels, through scholarships that will strengthen the Bocconi PhD School and through tuition exemptions that will open the University’s doors to 40 deserving and financially disadvantaged students enrolled in three-year degree programs as part of the Una Scelta Possibile project. This fund is a clear demonstration of the Foundation’s commitment to investing in future generations, recognizing talented students while at the same time removing the socio-economic barriers that could otherwise prevent them from accessing higher education, and offering them the opportunity to obtain a qualified education that would not otherwise be within their reach.

OTB Foundation Brave Women Awards

The recent collaboration between the OTB Foundation and Bocconi University rests on solid foundations: it is a tangible sign of their shared commitment to shaping the female managerial class of the future in Italian businesses and public administration. In Italy, only 19.1% of top positions in public institutions are currently held by women.

For this reason, the Foundation has established the OTB Foundation Brave Women Awards to support talented and deserving female students enrolled in specific Master’s degree programs that align with the Foundation’s mission. These programs include Management, International Management, Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations, and Politics and Policy Analysis. These programs prepare students to enter the labor market in two key areas—public administration and the management of large companies—where a stronger presence of women is both necessary and desirable.

Fabrizio Carretti Scholarship Fund

The Permira Foundation is an independent charity that works alongside the private equity firm Permira. The Foundation helps people overcome social exclusion in the areas of education, employment, and access to medical care.

From the 2023/2024 academic year, the Permira Foundation has chosen to invest in the future of the next generation by establishing the Fabrizio Carretti Scholarship Fund, to honor the memory of Permira's historic Partner and Co-Chairman. The Named Scholarship Fund will support two students each year for four years. The purpose of this Fund is to enable students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly female students and students from ethnic minorities, to pursue their academic education while avoiding significant economic challenges. In particular, the Permira Foundation has chosen to give priority to female students enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance program.

Donna Javotte Women's Scholarship Fund

The relationship between the Javotte Bocconi di Villahermosa Institute and Bocconi University has deep and longstanding roots: in 1965, Donna Javotte Manca di Villahermosa donated all her possessions to the University to honor the memory of her husband Ettore, son of Ferdinando Bocconi, the University’s founder. Since its establishment, the Institute has continuously supported Bocconi in various ways, with a particular focus on young people and on the evolving dynamics of education.

The Donna Javotte Women’s Scholarship Fund was created to honor the memory of its founder by supporting talented and deserving female students, with the goal of fostering diversity across Bocconi’s programs. The fund will support two students from the Bachelor’s degree programs in Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence and in Economics, Management and Computer Science, as well as two students from the Master of Science programs in Finance, International Management, and Data Science and Business Analytics.

Istituto Javotte Bocconi Merit Awards in memoria di Tancredi Bianchi

Since 2021, alongside the Donna Javotte Women’s Scholarship Fund, the Javotte Bocconi of Villahermosa Institute has further contributed to the University’s development by establishing another fund: the Javotte Bocconi Merit Awards in Memory of Tancredi Bianchi.

The fund was created to honor the legacy of Professor Tancredi Bianchi, a distinguished figure and mentor to generations of Bocconi students. With a specific focus on the field of Finance, the initiative aims to support talented and deserving students who aspire to advance their expertise in this discipline. The contribution will therefore provide funding for two students enrolled in selected Master of Science programs, including Finance and Administration and Finance and Control.

Named Fund in memory of Simone Fubini

Giving back. That is what Kaleyra, thanks to its CEO and Bocconi Alumnus Dario Calogero, has chosen to do: turning the loss of co-founder Simone Fubini into shared value.

Simone Fubini, a pioneer of information technology in Italy, passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 90. Today, his company honors his legacy with two scholarships established in his memory. These scholarships will support students with financial need who are enrolled in Master of Science programs focusing on innovation, data science, and management - fields that were particularly meaningful to both Simone and Kaleyra.

Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati – Bocconi Awards in memoria di Antonella Koenig

Since 2021, Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, a professional association specializing in tax and legal consultancy, has supported Bocconi’s growth and development through the establishment of a named financial aid fund. The initiative provides financial support for students in need and honors the memory of colleague and partner Antonella Koenig, who passed away prematurely.

Over the next two years, the Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati – Bocconi Awards fund will cover four full tuition exemptions for students enrolled in Bocconi degree programs, including the three-year program in Business Administration and Management and the Master of Science programs in Administration, Finance and Control, Management, and Business Economics and Legislation.

Alberto Alesina Young Economists Award

Alberto Alesina passed away on May 23, 2020, and today more than ever it is essential to honor the memory of the omnivorous scientist, the scholar who broke new ground in the field of economic studies, but above all, the mentor who was able to train young economists and illuminate their path.

The Alberto Alesina Young Economist Award was created to honor Alberto's memory and will be awarded annually to a student beginning a master's degree program in Economics and Social Sciences (DES-ESS) at Bocconi, in recognition of his or her preparation and achievements. The establishment of this award is a concrete gesture, honoring Alberto's contribution to the promotion of the social sciences and his particular dedication to training new generations of economists.

Anna Bonomi Award

Investindustrial Foundation, a foundation created by Investindustrial and the Bonomi family, wished to pay tribute to the figure of Anna Bonomi Bolchini, through the establishment of a named fund - Anna Bonomi Award - supporting a total of 18 deserving female students for six years, with the aim of giving continuity to the philanthropic tradition promoted, since the 1940s, by the Milanese entrepreneur.

The scholarships allocated to the female students are part of “A Possible Choice”, a project aimed at helping talented students by removing socioeconomic barriers that might preclude their access to university studies. This kind of support wants to continue the charitable initiative launched in the early 1940s by the “Lady of Finance,” as Anna Bonomi was called, who founded the Carline in Milan, an institute for the education and care of girls in need.

The contributions will, in fact, cover all the costs incurred by the students, from college tuition to textbooks to housing and food expenses. Selection will take place from spring 2024, and the scholarships will be activated from the 2024/2025 academic year.

Fondo Filantropico Italiano – We Dream

Tod’s Bocconi Talent & Need Awards

Year by year, project after project, the relationship between TOD's and Bocconi University is becoming increasingly solid and alive. This year, Tod's has once again chosen to stand by the University, renewing its willingness to contribute to Bocconi's growth and development and support the future of the new generations in a particularly difficult time for the country.

Through financial support, Tod's will create a fund to help students who deserve special care and financial support, in accordance with its Corporate Social Responsibility policies.

The contribution is in fact intended to support, through total and partial tuition waivers, those students who are enrolled in Master's degree courses and those who are admitted to the Master in Fashion, Experience & Design Management (MAFED) for the academic year 2021-2022.
