Roots in Europe: the impact of research on institutions

Research is the engine that drives change and lays the foundations for a more inclusive Europe, one that is better prepared to face global challenges. Bocconi, always faithful to its European roots, is committed to translating knowledge into concrete action, supporting the progress of European institutions and society. Projects such as the Bocconi Lab for European Studies (BLEST), which has been financed by Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica Invernizzi since 2021, demonstrate how interdisciplinary research can contribute to a stable future for the European Union.
The Institute for European Policymaking @ Bocconi University (IEР), created with support from the Javotte Bocconi Institute, Allianz, BNL - BNP Paribas, Pirelli & C. and Intesa Sanpaolo, is a think tank that brings together exceptional individuals, where research is translated into innovative policies, promoting dialogue and consensus around the European ideal.
Lastly, the Achille and Giulia Boroli Chair in European Studies examines crucial issues such as a sense of European belonging, globalization and inequality, proposing solutions for a more equitable and prosperous continent. All the work carried out by these three projects stimulates and engages students in the European ideal, so that future generations will continue to keep it alive.
