Campari Group

Founded in Italy in 1860, Campari Group is today the sixth-largest player in the global spirits industry. Headquartered in Milan, it operates in over 190 countries, with 24 production sites and a direct distribution network in 27 nations, employing approximately 5,000 people worldwide.

In 2025, the Group became a Strategic Partner of Bocconi University through the establishment of the Harvey Chaplin Chair in Distribution, Channel & Experience Management. Sharing the University’s principles and values, Campari Group sought to honor the memory of Harvey R. Chaplin — a pioneer in the U.S. wine and spirits distribution industry who passed away in 2024 — while also strengthening Bocconi’s academic and scientific structure through this endowed chair. Assigned to Professor Sandro Castaldo, the Chair focuses its research activities on a strategic area of mutual interest: Marketing.

With this initiative, Campari Group chose to contribute to the University’s endowment, demonstrating full confidence in Bocconi’s mission and in the management of its resources. The endowment represents the University’s capital fund: a long-term investment designed to generate an annual return that ensures Bocconi’s independence and sustainability over time.
