Scholarship Event 2026
On March 9, the Scholarship Event 2026 took place — the annual gathering celebrating the meeting between Donors and student scholarship recipients. A special occasion designed to make the impact of philanthropy tangible and to strengthen the sense of belonging to a community that brings together different generations around a shared belief: when talent is supported, it can fully express its potential.
The evening opened with institutional greetings from Rector Francesco Billari and the Dean for Development & Alumni Relations Antonella Carù, who expressed deep gratitude to the Donors for the trust and continuity with which they support the University in its path of growth. The fundamental role of tuition waivers and scholarships in promoting merit, inclusion, and social mobility was reaffirmed, offering concrete opportunities to those who demonstrate commitment and determination.
For the 2026 edition, a particularly symbolic setting was chosen: the Bocconi Art Gallery. Guided by Anna Bernardini, Susanna Caviglia, and several Bocconi students, participants moved through the University spaces along a path that intertwined artistic heritage and the culture of giving. A meaningful moment was the passage in front of the digital Donor Wall, a living testament to a community that, over time, has chosen to invest in the future of the University and new generations.
The heart of the evening came to life during the networking cocktail in the Lounge on Via Roentgen, where Donors met more than one hundred scholarship recipients. For many, it was their first exchange of glances and words with their Donor; for others, it was an opportunity to reconnect and continue a bond built over the years. Spontaneous conversations, personal stories, shared aspirations — simple moments, yet rich with meaning.
Beyond the numbers, what truly made the evening valuable was the strength of relationships: faces, stories, and journeys brought together through a gesture of trust. The Scholarship Event once again confirmed itself as a space for authentic dialogue, where the support of Donors is transformed into real opportunities and lasting connections that extend beyond a single academic year.
