More Access and More impact, from Housing to Sport

Over the years, Bocconi has built on its commitment through increasingly wide-ranging initiatives, aiming to promote talent regardless of students' backgrounds.
To this end, access to accommodation is a key strategic factor. The University is committed to providing accommodation for all first-year Bachelor students, a target it aims to meet by the 2026–2027 academic year. In this context, the contribution of Partners and Donors also plays an important role: Fondazione Nextalia ETS supports one student each year through the Moving to Milan program, dedicated to young non-resident students for whom relocating to the city may represent an obstacle.
This commitment is complemented by initiatives dedicated to nurturing talent in all its forms, such as the new Bocconi Sport Scholarships, designed to support high-profile young athletes with tuition and fee waivers and the provision of accommodation at reduced rates. One of the first Donors to collaborate with the University in this area has been Macron, a leading Italian sportswear company.
As part of a broader commitment to inclusion, Nuovo Fiore in Africa, an organization involved in educational and social projects across the African continent, contributes to the Inclusion Fund. This program supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds — including migrants, refugees and students who will be the first in their families to earn a university degree — by broadening access to education and promoting pathways to full participation in academic life.
