The Investindustrial Foundation
Established in 2016, the Investindustrial Foundation supports the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of the environment, the arts, culture, heritage, and science. The Foundation was created by the Bonomi family and Investindustrial, a leading European investment firm with €13 billion in capital raised from a long-term investor base.
Thanks to the contribution of the Bonomi family, and in line with its philanthropic mission, the Foundation has chosen to support new generations of deserving female students by establishing the Anna Bonomi Women Award. This fund will provide financial support over six years, starting in 2023, to a total of 18 students, enabling them to complete a Bachelor’s degree at Bocconi University.
The scholarships aim to carry forward the charitable initiative launched in the early 1940s by the “Lady of Finance,” as Anna Bonomi was known, through the creation of the Carline in Milan—an institute for the education and care of underprivileged girls.
The primary goal is to help foster female leadership in business and in Italian society more broadly, while addressing the persistent gender gap in career opportunities between women and men.
